Research


imageThe University of Ulster (UU) and the Royal Victoria Hospital in Northern Ireland, have jointly created the Centre for Advanced Cardiovascular Research, an establishment which will research on cardiovascular disease.

The main goal of the CACR is to advance the basic research and development of devices and clinical techniques for safe and effective solutions in cardiovascular treatments.

The centre sits within the Engineering Research Institute of UU and is currently a part of the Nanotechnology and Integrated Bio-Engineering Centre (NIBEC) research group structure.
